Shock Protection System Hub Retrofit Kit #87602273 allows you to retrofit older model mower-conditioners. It provides components and instructions for two modules.

• Designed to provide shock protection to the individual cutterbar modules should the knives contact larger obstacles
• The shock hub reduces the number of splines, which will shear off before the cutterbar gear teeth fail. It also protects the top cap assembly
• Clamp loading on the shock hub drives the disc after shearing to prevent domino effect failures by allowing the disc to partially re-time
• A hub seal prevents metal fines from entering module components and damaging them
• Quick and easy installation and repairs

The kit includes:

• 2 x Top Cover #87581143
• 2 x Bolt #87579665
• 2 x Belleville Washer #86589278
• 2 x Hardened Washer #574245
• 2 x Splined Washer #87376405
• 2 x Shock Hub
• Seal Hub #87376403

*PTO-driven modules do not use Shock Protection System Hubs.
