Nature's Net Wrap #402-001505 is a revolutionary product for the agriculture industry. Our compostable net wrap provides a sustainable solution for your bales that eliminates plastic waste without compromising on performance.
Made from biopolymers sourced from plant-based renewable resources:
• Soil microorganisms and enzymes break down and consume our net wrap. Warm and moist soils with a higher population of microorganisms and enzymes will break down the net wrap faster than other types of soil conditions
• The biopolymers in Nature's Net Wrap are all certified compostable by the BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute) and have passed ecotoxicity testing for North America, Europe and Australia's standards
Durability:
• Nature’s Net Wrap will maintain its strength and structural integrity for over 12 months. Bales up to two years old are still in great shape and have no issues being moved or handled. The product has been designed so that UV and rain have minimal impact on the degradation of the net wrap
• Nature's Net Wrap has a stronger tensile strength than traditional plastic net wrap, so there is no need to add extra wraps to your bales. We recommend 2 1/4 wraps for hay and 3 1/4 wraps for straw and other forages
No special modifications required:
• Designed for a seamless transition from plastic (some settings may need adjustments)
Does it require special storage conditions?
• Bales with our compostable net wrap do not require indoor storage
• For up to 12 months, producers can stack their bales however they normally do. For storage over 12 months, we recommend stacking the bottom row of bales on the end on the ground. The bales stacked on top should be on their side (net wrap side down). This is referred to as "mushroom stacking"
